Stack Overflow is a public Q&A site for questions about programming and development tools. Even if you have just started using Leafony, you can ask a question by describing what you are working on in detail.

  • You get an error when compiling a sample sketch.
  • Your code uses a library to read sensor values, but it does not behave as expected.
  • Your own BLE communication program cannot receive data.

Focus on one problem in each question to make it easier to understand.

  1. Look for similar questions. Browse Leafony questions or search for your error message.
  2. Describe your situation using the template. Copy the template below and fill in what you have actually checked. If you do not know a model number or version, you can say so.
  3. Post in English. Open the question form, log in or create a free account, and enter your title, question, and relevant tags.

A title such as “Compiling my Leafony sensor-reading sketch produces an XX error” explains your goal and the problem more clearly than “I need help with Leafony.”

Copy the template below and paste it into the body of your question. Add code and error messages as text under the relevant heading.

Question template
## What I want to do
(What are you trying to achieve?)
## My environment
- Leafony kit name and leaf model numbers:
- Leaf combination and power source (USB, battery, etc.):
- Operating system and version:
- Development tools, board settings, libraries, and versions:
## What I have tried
(Links to the pages you followed, steps you took, and changes you made)
## Expected and actual results
(What happened after which action?)
## Error messages and code to reproduce the problem
(Paste the full error message and a short code example that reproduces the problem.)
  • Include Leafony and the leaf model numbers in the question body. This helps readers identify what you are using.
  • Include code and errors as text, not only as images. Add photos of the assembly or wiring when they help explain the situation.
  • Choose tags that fit your question. Select relevant languages or libraries from the suggestions in the question form.
  • Update your question when someone asks for more information in a comment. This helps later readers understand the situation, too.

When you are ready, post your question in English on Stack Overflow. For more guidance, see How do I ask a good question?.
