This site uses Google Analytics to understand site traffic and improve its documentation.
Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect information about pages viewed, referring pages, browsers and devices, and interactions such as scrolling and link clicks. This information is sent to Google. We use the resulting reports to understand visitor numbers, popular pages, and traffic sources.
For information about how Google handles this data, see the Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
To disable the use of data by Google Analytics, you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on in a supported browser. See the linked page for compatibility and setup instructions.
Microsoft Clarity
Section titled “Microsoft Clarity”We use Microsoft Clarity to improve the readability and usability of these docs. On eligible pages, measurement starts without cookies by default. Page visits, clicks, scrolling, and browser and device information are sent to Microsoft and help us understand usage through heatmaps and similar reports. Without cookies, we cannot connect activity across pages or recognize returning visitors as part of the same journey.
Use “Analytics settings” at the bottom of each page to choose “Measure without cookies”, “Allow cookies for analytics”, or “Stop collection”. Allowing cookies enables Clarity cookies for session recordings and journeys across pages. “Stop collection” stops further Clarity collection; it does not delete information already sent. Your choice is saved in this browser and can be changed at any time. Set it separately on other browsers or devices. Previously saved choices to stop collection remain in effect.
We apply strict masking to text and inputs. Clarity does not load on contact or privacy pages, or URLs containing query parameters. Recording stops on the current page when you start using an input, such as search. Clarity also stays off when your browser enables Do Not Track (DNT) or Global Privacy Control (GPC), or when your settings cannot be saved or read.
Microsoft processes the information it receives to provide Clarity and for purposes such as improving its products and services, in accordance with its privacy statement and Clarity terms. We always send advertising consent as denied, disabling data sharing from Clarity to Microsoft Ads. This setting does not stop all processing by Microsoft, including providing and improving Clarity. For more information, see the Microsoft Privacy Statement and Clarity Terms of Use.
These settings apply to Clarity. For Google Analytics settings, see the section above.
