This development kit combines temperature, humidity, pressure and 3-axis acceleration measurements with data communication over a cellular network. It uses the AI05 environmental sensor leaf, the AP03B STM32 microcontroller leaf to run programs, and the AC09 Cellular LPWA Cat-M1 leaf.

Cellular LPWA uses cellular networks for low-power IoT devices. This kit uses AC09 with Cat-M1 support. Communication requires a compatible nanoSIM, a service plan and programs to control each leaf. See the AC09 reference for SIM configuration examples and service requirements to check.

AV06 supplies power and accepts the included PH-connector battery holder for two AA cells.

Start with Cat-M1 Kit: prepare for development to check additional items and differences from the existing AP03 + AI01 example. Operating instructions for this kit’s AP03B + AI05 configuration are in preparation.

LeafRole
AC09 Cat-M1 TYCellular LPWA Cat-M1 communication over a cellular network.
SpacerIncreases spacing to prevent component interference.
AI05 Env SensorsMeasures temperature, humidity, pressure and 3-axis acceleration. The standard configuration uses BME280 and LIS2DW12.
AP03B STM32 MCURuns programs to read sensors and control communication leaves. A redesigned version of AP03.
AV06 1.8V–5.5VSupplies 3.3V to the leaves from batteries. The battery holder connects through a PH connector.

See the AP03B STM32 MCU reference for specifications, pin connections and design documents.

AccessoryPurpose
M2 screwsSecure the stacked leaves.
Nut PlateUsed with M2 screws to secure the leaves.
PH-connector holder for two AA cellsConnects to AV06 for battery power.
